Create Your Manifesto
Using the prompts offered below, explore what it is you want to create and put it into some kind of physical form. Think of it as a manifesto or declaration. Here are some manifestos for inspiration. https://1000manifestos.com/list/
It doesn’t have to be in any particular form it could be:
- A rally cry
- A list of “I want” statements…
- Journal a stream of consciousness declaration of desire.
- A poem.
- A spoken word piece.
- A song.
- An image, painting, or visual art piece.
- A Perform a dance that conveys the energetic.
In your pod call, share your manifesto or a part of it (keep in under 5 min). Use the rest of the time to talk about how your manifestos impact each other and your personal process in creating and sharing them.
Desire Prompts for Manifesto
Desire is creative energy. Getting clear on what you deeply desire is key to being able to manifest and create. It enables you to feel pleasure in the process and use that aliveness to accelerate and enhance your creation. You will be invited to turn up the volume on your desire and claim what it is you want to create in your life and in the world.
Use these prompts to explore your desire. Pick and choose which ones feel resonate. There is not right or wrong way to do this, the intention is to play and see what is revealed…
- What do you want? Take 15-20 minutes and explore this as a stream of consciousness journaling exercise. Keep asking yourself the questions.
- If you had a magic wand and no limitations, what would you create?
- Do the conscious ranting exercise (in the call content for week 1)
- What makes you nervous and lean forward at the same time?
- Is there a desire you are afraid to admit?
- Put on some music and do a dancing meditation, what ideas light you up?
- What thought pops into your mind over and over, as many times as you set it aside?
- When exploring and idea, why do you want it?
- What could it do for you?
- How could it make you feel?
- How could it represent you?
- How could it define you?
- What does it mean to you?
- What could it get you?
- What could you strip away without losing the essence of the desire?
- What ideas bring aliveness to your body?
- If you follow it, where does it lead you?
- What does it remind you of? What memories does it spark?
- What results/outcomes do you want?
- For yourself?
- For others?
- What could you do to bring the pleasure/aliveness/energy of the desire into your body?
- Radiate it from your hara through your torso and limbs
- Imagine it as a gold liquid filling you from your toes to your head
- Wear it like a cloak or a cape
- How does it feel to *own* your desire, to bring it into your body?
- Where does it “land” in your body, so you can “touch” it later, so you can reference it for visceral motivation if you experience lulls/obstacles/barriers?
